ABOUT ME
My name is Bobbie Adelson, a West Coast girl who made the move to New York a couple of months ago. I've always been creative, and I love to use my imagination and creativity with whatever I can. Not only am I creative, but I am patient, organized, a quick learner, and charismatic.
In my first job in NYC, I worked as a PR assistant at Tenique Bernard Consulting where we represented designers like Brandon Maxwell. I assisted in fashion week planning while simultaneously sending out PR samples. I dressed influencers for events to get exposure and coordinated with stylists. I worked my first ever NYFW and fell more in love with the fashion industry. Additionally, I had two past internships working in social media and PR for a fashion and beauty brand, where I used my knowledge of trends and creatives to generate ideas, interact and communicate with followers, and figure out the best ways for brand exposure. This experience helped me learn communication skills and the importance of detail and time management. Lastly, I worked as a digital intern at AZIONE PR which has helped me learn more about the VIP and celebrity gifting side of fashion and lifestyle PR.
Right now, I just finished up working as a PR/Fashion Intern at Larroudé. Currently looking for my permanent place here in the city! When I'm not working, you can find me online shopping, scrolling on TikTok, listening to old One Direction songs, or taking my dog on a drive to get a Diet Coke.

Why Fashion?
My addiction to online shopping probably started this passion of mine. I love styling my friends and sharing my outfit creations. Growing up, I was obsessed with celebrities and red-carpet outfits, imagining one day I would be the correspondent for the Met Gala or something. Moving to NYC was the best opportunity for my dream to come true. From working my first NYFW, planning events, to sending samples out to celebrity stylists - I realized this is definitely where I belong.
Why PR?
As a creative person, I found that PR helps me communicate these skills by creating brand personas, advertisements, and social media strategies, and overall being able to use my communication skills. Combining this with studying advertisements allows me to combine my passions and skills.
